Join us as we have a conversation on infidelity and how it affects relationships in the Black Community. During this conversation we focus on the double standard nature of infidelity as it occurs in America and examine whence came this mentality. We have all heard of the basic explanations for a man’s infidelity. My favorite one, and perhaps the most absurd one is, “He is a man.”

It’s as if his genetic structure makes him incapable of controlling himself. Yeah …

But let’s trade places for a moment and consider why statistically, women are grabbing their own “side pieces” more now than in the past. Ladies my goal is not to be out here exposing all of your trade secrets. I am here to simply inform and highlight things about women that men deem impossible.

The ironic stigma is that the blood that pumps through women veins is somehow more chaste and paired with unceasing loyalty. Women are capable of wrongdoing and in search of being whole beings. Enough talking...join and share this conversation.

Join us as we have a true conversation about history. In today's episode we discuss the Yamasee Tribe who are the Black Indigenous tribe of North America. The Cherokee Nation recently stripped citizenship from a majority of African-Americans who descended from slaves of wealthy Cherokee Indians before the Civil War. And those Black members are often referred to as "Estelusti," or Freedman. But the Yamasee Indians are written as the "Negro Indians," in the pages of history therefore their membership in this tribe cannot be stripped away. Join us as we have a conversation concerning the recent fatal police shooting of Black American teenager Ma'Khia Bryant, of Columbus, Ohio. This story has reached national news to the extent that Lakers forward LeBron James posted a tweet Wednesday telling the police officer who shot Ma'Khia Bryant to death Tuesday in Columbus, Ohio, "You're next." The tweet also included an image of the officer, an hourglass emoji and the hashtag "#ACCOUNTABILITY​."

LeBron James also tweeted, "I’m so damn tired of seeing Black people killed by police. I took the tweet down because its being used to create more hate -This isn’t about one officer. it’s about the entire system and they always use our words to create more racism. I am so desperate for more ACCOUNTABILITY."

Join us as we have a conversation about the victim consciousness that have been placed on the minds of Black Americans all over the country. Blacks must drop victim-hood and reclaim dignity Black Americans can succeed despite the forces of poverty and systemic racism. But first we must shed the mind-set of victim-hood.

We know there are forces that make the ability to escape poverty seem bleak: overburdened single-parent homes, a high dropout rate, joblessness, gangs, drugs, crime, incarceration, deaths at an early age from guns fired by angry black men. We know that systemic racism and governmental neglect still exist. Yet we in the black community must look at ourselves and understand our own responsibility. We sometimes inflict ourselves with a victim mentality, feel hopeless, and do self-destructive things that make our lives even worse. Many people who are trying to make it find themselves struggling against fellow African Americans so lost in self-destructive behaviors that they bring down other people as well as themselves.

The Yamasee were a multiethnic confederation of Native Americans who lived in the coastal region of present-day northern coastal Georgia near the Savannah River and later in northeastern Florida. The Yamasee engaged in revolts and wars with other native groups and Europeans while living in North America, specifically from Florida to North Carolina.

The video for Lil Nas X’s new single “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” has everything: alien sex, snake-licking, pastel Marie Antoinette wigs, Greek references to Plato’s Symposium that a grand total of three people watching the video will be able to read and understand. But perhaps its most prominent character is the Prince of Darkness himself: Satan, whom Lil Nas X seduces with a lap-dance in the video after riding a stripper pole to hell, then steals his horns.

Watching the rapper twerk atop a swole zaddy Satan in the video is redolent with symbolism: as Lil Nas X put it in a press release, it was intended as a nod to homophobes who accuse gay people of going to hell, with the dethroning of Satan as a means of “dismantling the throne of judgment and punishment that has kept many of us from embracing our true selves out of fear.” According to him....share this video, drop a comment, be apart of this conversation.
