What if you want to be a mom but it doesn’t look like society pressures you it should look?
What if you love your babies but your work is part of your identity too?
We talk with Emily Harrington who knows herself and knows what’s best for her is to work outside the home – no question. She doesn’t have the desire to stay home full time with her kiddos and she’s not less of a mom for it.
But it doesn’t mean it comes easily – working mom guilt, criticism and judgment from others all came along.
She opens up about her hesitation to share her pregnancy, working with all male co-workers, taking a short maternity leave & and her husband stepping into primary caregiving and all that came along with this journey!
We love this real talk about owning who you are despite it being the norm and being real about the challenges and struggles every mom faces going back to work and balancing everything at home as well #thestruggleisreal.
