On today's show, we just get nuts as we explore the world of reporters who cry/show emotion on the air, transition that into a discussion on 9-11, segue that into Sarah's morning at the DMV, followed by Rich's diatribe on poor driving habits. We then do our first in the series of "Glen's Rants," as author/playwright/screenwriter Glen Merzer joins us. We follow that up with a game, as Eric and Sarah battle it out over driving stats. And finally, Sarah's news covers topics like Impossible meats, Brazil, doggie ice cream, and shellac.
On today's show, we recap all of our weekends. Rich was the announcer at an MMA event in Milwaukee, where he wore red velvet to impress the ladies, and then followed that up the next day by attending a rock concert while drinking many beers. Meanwhile, Sarah made curry and Eric got a haircut...yeah, Rich wins. Rich also gets a trophy right before the show and he wears a Cubs jersey just to get Eric's goat, as Chicago won the series versus the Milwaukee Brewers over the weekend. We then get to chat with Kathie from Paul's Party on the week of Paulpalooza, which should be rocking! And then it's time for Sarah's news, as we talk Burger King, McDonald's, and not a mention of Lizzo.
Today's show is chocked full of football, bullying, double entendres, and plant-based goodness. We start with a recap of Sarah's long day, how bullying campaigns are misguided, Sarah on the college dance team, and Rich's fight against a junior high school bully. We then bring in Lon as we discuss the NFL, especially Aaron Rodgers and the Packers, Justin Fields and the Bears, and HBO's Hard Knocks. Then it is time for Sarah's news, as we keep Lizzo out of it, and discuss the benefits of lettuce over pink slime. Plus, Eric makes fun of Rich for taking so long to finally watch his first Tik Tok video, which shows how the gravy is made at KFC.
On today's show, we go over the insult that is the Deshaun Watson suspension. Then we shift to a discussion of zoonotic diseases that somehow relates to potholes. After that, our guest, the host of the Inside Wisconsin podcast, Trevor Thomas, talks about sports, beer, and life. Then, Sarah's news has us discussing tacos, burritos, and Girl Scout cookies.
Today, we check in on Sarah's sanity as she hosted her daughter's birthday party yesterday. That morphs into a recap of Rich's daughter's volleyball tryouts and the dangers of equal playing time and participation trophies. We then play The Protein Game, as Eric looks to finally win one from Sarah. And then, in Sarah's news, we talk about Chicago Bears quarterback, Justin Fields, and super celebrity, Beyonce.
Today on the show, we discuss PED's in baseball, as it pertains to Fernando Tatis Jr, and also how that is affecting Aaron Judge. We then turn our attention to the founder and CEO of Real Men Eat Plants, Bryan Dennstedt, who joins us to discuss his plant-based journey and athletic endeavors. And then on Sarah's news, we get a glimpse into the menu at Ikea...yeah, Ikea.
Today on the show, we discuss the virtues of the Chicago style hot dog, especially the new Garden Dog from Portillo's. Then, history is made, as Rich's long-time radio partner, Sean Thompson, comes on the show. Later, Sarah's news discusses deep-frying and culling. Yummm!
Today on the show, we start by playing a trivia game that we are sure yesterday's guest, Glen Merzer, would love...and win. We then segue into a conversation about body shaming as we examine Bill Maher's recent comments. Then we turn our attention to the NFL, as we welcome a contributor, Lon Tremain-Woodcock, who sings us a "blues" song. And then, during Sarah's news, our resident goody-two shoes says a bad word, and we all lose it!
Today's show has it all! We start be bemoaning slumps, which quickly turns into a discussion of "Slump Busters," much to the chagrin of our Sarah Carlson. Then author, playwright, and screenwriter extraordinaire, Glen Merzer shares a story about David Hasselhoff as well as his new book, Food is Climate. Then we wrap it up with Sarah's news as we learn all about pairing plant-based ribs with beer!
Today we explore the wonderful world of grooming, and somehow move that into a conversation about boxing. We then bring in the winningest boxer in USA Boxing history, Cam F. Awesome, who has some sage advice. Then we cap the show with Sarah's news as she brings us some good news when it comes to schools.
