This week, we are joined by Carmen Torres-Izquierdo (She/Her). Carmen is a NJEA UniServ Administrative Assistant in Ocean County, former VP of The Latino Institute Inc., former VP of ASPIRA Inc. NJ, a community organizer, and co-founder of the REAL Movement.

This week, we are joined by Dr. Tiffanie ThrBak (she/her). Dr. ThrBak has been in the Bridgeton Public School District for 28 years, as an educator for students with exceptionalities and Certified School SW.  She is also State Chair of NJEA Minority Leadership and Recruitment Committee, NJEA Professional Development Consultant,  Cumberland County Council of Educational Association Representative & Delegate Assembly, NJEA Human & Civil Rights Committee, 2015 John V. Warms Union School Graduate, NEA Black Caucus Member, ACE Interface Master Trainer and co-founder of the REAL Movement.

This week, we are joined by Jacynth Johnson (she/her). Jacynth is  currently a 5-8 Language Arts and Social Studies Supervisor in Montgomery Township Public Schools and has served as a middle and high school English teacher and Instructional Coach over her amazing 10 year career. She also serves as a NJEA Professional Development Consultant, and is the founder of The I AM RARE Foundation—a non-profit organization that empowers youth girls, and co-founder of the REAL Movement.

In this week's episode, we sit down with Lizandaa Alburg (she/her), an educator for the Gifted & Talented program at Paterson Public Schools. She also spends her days as a NJEA Teacher Leadership Academy Consultant and co-founder of the PCEA Equity Seekers. We welcome her as a co-founder of the REAL Movement, and can't wait to share her stories.

This week we are graced by Shan Byrd (she/her) as she shares some amazing stories and life lessons. Shan is a Restorative Justice Coordinate for New Brunswick Public Schools. Her work has also led her to become a NJEA Professional Development Consultant, and co-founder of the REAL Movement.

This weel, we are joined by Fatimah Hayes (she/her). Fatimah is a social studies teacher in the Pennsauken Public School District, and has been shaping young minds for over 19 years. She is the former president of the Pennsauken Education Association,  a NJEA Univerv Consultant in Region 3, and respected co-founder of the REAL Movement.

In this week's episode, we listen to the story of Ikechukwu Onyema (he/him). Ike  is a chemistry teacher in East Orange Public Schools, who also co-founded the MAPSO Freedom School, co-founded  the REAL Movement, and  is an organizer of the STEAM Teacher Leaders for Racial Literacy.
