Katie Hughes is the Owner and Chief Editor/Retoucher of The Photo Editive, a boutique style outsourcing business for the busy photographer. She is also a nationally featured and awarded High School Senior Photographer, which has helped to shape the purpose and vision of The Photo Editive. 

With her experience working for 10 years as a Senior Photographer, Katie saw the need for a more client oriented editing outsourcing service for photographers. She feels that communication with her clients, updated techniques of retouching and an in-depth knowledge of the Senior Photography industry is KEY in providing a balanced and comprehensive editing outsourcing experience for photographers. 

Katie is passionate about outsourcing and the ways that it is necessary to build a thriving business, spend more quality time with family & help photographers find a way to work ON their business and not IN their business.

Outside of being an entrepreneur and photographer, Katie loves to travel with her husband, spend time with her children, and (almost) 2 grandchildren. She truly lives by the motto: “You can ANYTHING, but you can’t do EVERYTHING”.
