In this episode Erika Potts from Oils4TheMend.com and I talk about Working Out and Supplements. We share our thoughts on the current mindset in the fitness industry when it comes to working out and supplements. It was a lot of fun recording this with an awesome friend and brilliant fitness pro. 

There's products that you can take to maximize your workout, but you and I both know that a lot of those products are filled with chemicals and junk with massive side effects like killing your kidneys. I mean, if a product has to have a better product within it to make sure it doesn't kill your kidneys that should give you a warning.  What's your thoughts?

My thoughts on that would be no I was also in the past took a bunch of stuff I never did like steroids or anything but you know, whatever was in the cabinet at the gym that's supposed to amp up your workout...

It's so much fun to talk with my good friend Erika Potts from Oils4TheMend.com, but it was special to be able to reflect on our past experience in the fitness industry and how our mindset was to how it is now. Our goal is to help you improve your fitness mindset so you don't struggle like we did. Hope this helps you!

So I've noticed the mindset with fitness, this is probably going to be higher but I'm gonna say 98% of the people believe this, is that it's all about weight loss and muscle gain and that's it. I mean, that's, that's what it is for them.

Yeah, you do the internal first and all these other things fall into place. It's beautiful the way it works, and they catch on to that and then there's days where they come in and they're frustrated. Like, you know, we've been doing this for three months and I haven't reached my goal. Like, well, we need a little bit more time. But then the battle they have is I haven't reached my goal but yet all these other things are happening.

My name is Gary Winchester I'm an essential oil guy stay at home dad and entrepreneur. This episode is titled be a freaking unicorn because I did a Instagram TV video. And I may have honestly titled that video I I am a freaking unicorn or your boys a freaking unicorn. something stupid like...I started being clever, get people to watch it.

Maybe a little too clever for my own good. Or maybe I wasn't clever and I thought I was But anyways, if you watch the video I give it a little details about what it means to be record the whole to kind of sum it up. Basically in this three years of being a stay at home dad I've discovered I don't really fit in with stay at home moms, I'm not really fitting fitting in with stay at home dads. I'm not really fitting in and can be honest, I don't really put much of my life fitting into anything. Even when I was in the military, and it really fit into that.

What you would typically think marine would be or look like, I didn't really fit into that. I was different. So even in this sense, I'm different. I'm different from stay at home mom, because I'm a dad. I'm a dude, I'm a guy. I'm a man. I'm different from stay at home dads because I don't fit that preconceived. You mold or the idea of what some people think is stay at home dad is most of the time it's because I tend to be a helicopter dad. That's just me....

I have a desire to create content I love producing content. But I've always struggled with producing perfecting content, I've always struggled with producing content that is an extremely high quality. And honestly, really good content like that from coming from one person takes a long time. And with how my life is right now, as a stay at home dad and entrepreneur, I am constantly on the go. So I need to be able to create content that's quick and on the dough. That also gives me freedom. So I create content on my phone and edit on my phone and post it from my phone. So I have to use these tools that are at arm's reach, really, to be able to share what is on my heart, what's on my mind and If you listen to my relaunch episode new name, I talk about why rename, rename the podcast...
