In this encore episode of Real Voices Podcast, we talk with Martha Navarro, REALTOR®.
Martha has been a happy Arizona resident since 2000. From Gaudalaraja, Mexico, most of her Arizona clients are Spanish-speaking. This is a great advantage for her ESL clients as they receive a better understanding and explanation of the complexities of the real estate market and transaction process.
Her greatest challenge in the marketplace? “Finding properties! It’s not only me, it’s life, it’s business, everything is different.” But, Martha continues, “I keep in touch with (clients) by different ways — Facebook, social media,” to always maintain communication with past and prospective clients and to assist them in finding their dream homes.
Martha herself hosts a radio show where she interviews individuals from all over about business and real estate. Listen to her journey and business tactics on our Real Voices Podcast! Find it on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts and Google Podcasts today!
In this encore episode of Real Voices Podcast, we talk with Thanaa Salloum, REALTOR®.
“I have been in the industry for a long, long time...just five years!” Thanaa Salloum jokes. An educator for 17 years, she became a full time agent in 2021.
“Obviously, when you are a teacher, you are all about public service and helping others. I love — it’s in my blood to help others and be of help and get them excited about stuff.” Switching to real estate, Thanaa says she wanted to make other people happy when getting their own homes.
“If your focus is your client and their best interest is your number one priority, they feel it, you don’t have to tell them, they will just feel it.”

Some people predict that the advance of technology spells the end of the real estate agent. In today's encore episode, Todd Sumney thinks these people couldn’t be more wrong.
Todd sees technology as the real estate agent's greatest ally, connecting buyers, sellers and lenders in more efficient ways than ever before. He sees that realty has “gone more virtual and become more efficient,” especially in the past two years.
He also sees agents as more valuable than ever in an age of conflicting information about properties. “I see examples everyday of top REALTORS® helping their customers navigate the real estate process, and customers needing that.”
But for Todd, despite the advances in tech, the best tool of the trade is still connection. “There are plenty of agents who would be willing to help other agents. Just ask.”
To hear more from Todd, his best advice for agents in a rut, and what excites him most about the second-half of 2022 into 2023, tune in to this episode of Real Voices!
