This episode is for a listener who asked us "How do I have a healthy/happy relationship and enforce my boundaries when my partner has mental illness". Now this question was a follow up from the episode titled "Secrets" To A "Perfect" Relationship. So hopefully in this episode I can bring a different perspective to our listeners question using my own experience dealing with my mental illness as well as my wife who struggles with mental illness. As always my goal is not to tell anyone what they should or shouldn't do, but to offer a different perspective that will lead you to your own conclusions and understanding. I really want to shift that perspective, although its possible to have acceptance this unfortunately isn't always the case. So instead I think the question needs to be how detrimental to your happiness is it to not be authentically you. Are you willing to continue down your path even though there is a high probability of losing the people you care about?
