Really Rich

Too many times, a business will hire someone based on if that person has a Degree or not. This is NOT a smart strategy as we are seeing more than ever that a Degree can only show you so much about a person. A lot of companies want to skim thru the interviewing and just rely on paperwork like resumes and testing, which leads to hiring whoever looks best on paper when the real key to running a business is knowing what person works best with what people on any given assignment. Knowing the person and not just how much schooling they went thru, is the key to a successful relationship with an employee which leads to a better work culture, which leads to higher morale, which leads to an amazing, well run company filled with teammates instead of coworkers. Don’t rely too heavily on a piece of paper that says someone is smart.

No matter what bad things have happened in your life or what kind of pain and suffering you’ve dealt with, the fact that you are still here, shows that you are a champion! Acknowledge the wrong in your life and learn from it, then move forward. Don’t get stuck feeling that it’s never gonna happen for you so why even try. Make a gameplan, focus on the good that can come from the future and when things don’t go your way, don’t blame your environment, or your past or the people around you. Hold yourself accountable, stay positive and keep moving in the right direction.

If you spend too much time working, you could burn yourself out, even if it’s something you love. If you just sit around and live life you risk never really discovering your purpose. I think we all need balance in our lives to keep our sanity and be able to appreciate things that bring us happiness. Don’t overdo it one way or the other.

Stop spending money you don’t have, to buy things you don’t like, to impress people you don’t even know. Save a little whenever you can to prepare for anything that comes up. Sometimes if you save enough, for long enough, it can help change your life. It can get you out of that job you hate and starting your own thing that you actually love.
