Salary Cap space and defence may still be a reason for pessimism, but the play of Jack Campbell in goal, the addition of Ondrej Kase and David Kampf to the third line, the resurgence of Morgan Rielly and John Tavares and the breakout season of William Nylander leave Leafs Nation and the Leaf pod listeners with plenty of optimism.
