She is a 1992 Clinical Herbalist graduate of the Southwest School of Botanical Medicine and has taught herbal medicine at UCSF School of Nursing. Suffering from a life-threatening medication side-effect when she was a teenager propelled her into the world of herbs at a young age when herbal remedies were not popular. She has since helped thousands of families learn to use herbs for self-care. She is dedicated to fueling the home herbalism movement to revitalize our relationship with the plant world and create family culture steeped in using herbal medicine for home wellness care.
