  1. Number 1: Herbalism is Activism | Featuring Jiling Lin

We're excited to share this special presentation from Jiling Lin inspired by her 6-part "Herbalism is Activism: Elemental Herbalism Through the Seasons" series from the Mountain Rose Herbs Blog. This series explores different plants, how we can interweave our humanity with the botanical world, and the inherent activism nestled within herbalism. This 6-part series is adapted from her keynote for the 15th annual Midwest Women's Herbal Conference. Each month, explore different facets of herbalism as activism with a seasonal plant guide. For each plant, hold them, sip them, or spritz their hydrosols. Breathe these words to life. Join us as Jiling explores: Activism in herbalism: from community gardens to disaster relief efforts Filtering your love for people, plants, and places into the world Reflecting on the ground we stand on, what we stand for, and how we can give back to the Earth A guided dance of devotion for the plants and for all that you love Navigating the complex world we live in with simple medicines Follow the elemental journey through Jiling's Herbalism is Activism series: ๐Ÿƒ Herbalism is Activism: Five Plants for Five Seasons | Part 1 ๐ŸŒน Herbalism is Activism: Roses & People's Medicine | Part 2 ๐ŸŒพ Herbalism is Activism: Sweetgrass & Kitchen Medicine | Part 3 ๐ŸŒฟ Herbalism is Activism: Tulsi & Beauty Medicine | Part 4 โ€“ Coming soonโ€ฆ ๐ŸŒฒ Herbalism is Activism: Douglas Fir & Rest Medicine | Part 5 โ€“ Coming soonโ€ฆ ๐ŸŠ Herbalism is Activism: Oranges & Garden Medicine | Part 6 โ€“ Coming soonโ€ฆ As always, we thank you for joining us on another botanical adventure and are so honored to have you tag along with us on this ride.
