Rebecca Ferguson has confirmed that she will reprise her role as Lady Jessica in Dune: Part Three, set to release on December 26, 2025[1]. While Lady Jessica has a minimal presence in Frank Herbert's novel Dune: Messiah, the source material for the third film, Ferguson hinted that director Denis Villeneuve has a "little idea" to include her character[1]. Ferguson has already filmed her part, which she describes as not a "big part"[1]. In the Dune: Messiah novel, Lady Jessica is only mentioned as having returned to Caladan, her ancestral home, and potentially to the Sisterhood, acting as a distant counselor to Paul Atreides, and possibly becoming involved with Gurney Halleck[1]. The third installment will also see the return of Timothée Chalamet as Paul Atreides, Zendaya as Chani, Florence Pugh as Princess Irulan, Jason Momoa as Duncan Idaho, and Anya Taylor-Joy as Alia[1].
