  • Episode 411: We Don't Need So Many Humans On This Planet
This is a fun little ditty about overpopulation of the planet. The bridge is a repetition of a theme from an earlier song, where I was trying to emulate the sound of a drunk church (long story). There is a moment, a wee tiny moment in which I do manage to have it sound like a drunk church. Yay, me!

  • Episode 409: Weird Silver Rings Song Intro
I dunno if I'm gonna get around to recording the rest of this song today, so I figured I'd post the intro to it, in case I die before I get a chance to finish the rest of the song. I think the intro in the finished song might have a slightly different mix. Yeah.

  • Episode 408: I Just Wanna Sleep Forever
This song's hook came to me after I smoked some; it sounds a little bleak, y'know wanting to sleep forever, so I made it about how sometimes dreams feel more homey than real life sometimes. I marked it "explicit," cuz it has pot in it, and that's still not legal in some places, and I read somewhere, having drugs that are not legal makes a song explicit.

  • Episode 407: Sadness Hangs in the Air
I was tryin' to write a song about a great sadness that hangs in the air over the entire earth. I'm trying to go for a ghosty sound, but this is more of a just plain ole country song. That's okay, though, cuz maybe someday that ghosty sound'll come to me.

  • Episode 406: The Girl/Man With The Silver Rings
This is the next song in the effed up relationship album; it's based on a song I actually wrote at the beginning of that there relationship, 20-someodd years ago. But I don't think the original one was country-ish. And it didn't have rap in it. I think the only similarity is the chorus, really. Stay tuned for next week's song, where you get to find out the back-story of this here little ditty.

  • Episode 404: Halloween Song
I realized I've written songs for most of the major holidays I celebrate, but I haven't done a Halloween one yet. Here it is - I did the same thing with yesterday's song, but slightly differently. In this case, I sing the lyrics forwards and then I sing the same lyrics backwards. I'll post the turned around version of this - stay tuned.

  • Episode 403: Can We Save The Trees?
So, here's the last song I posted, but turned around backwards. Like I said, I tried writing a song, and then I sang the lyrics backwards and then turned the recording around to hear what it would sound like. This is what it sounds like. Some o' the words are hard to decipher cuz I messed up a little bit, so I included the lyrics so you can follow along. Can we save the trees?People keep killing themSoon they will be goneLet's stop killing themSo I wrote this songCan we save the trees?Bring the forests backIf they go awayI'll be a sad sackLet's let the trees stayWhen the trees are gone, humans will have nothing to breatheNo more oxygen will be here, and we'll start to wheezeNot to mention all the animals and plants that theyShelter with their leafy branches - let's let the trees stayCan we save the trees?I mentioned this a while back - there's a horrible housing development that's in the works to be built, and if it succeeds in getting built, nearly 4000 oak trees will be murdered. Here's a petition to sign, if you wanna save those trees. https://www.change.org/p/stop-the-dana-reserve-development-as-currently-designed?utm_content=cl_sharecopy_34111100_en-US%3A3&recruiter=70785409&recruited_by_id=6665f000-5617-11e3-a3ca-7720031946e2&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=copylink&utm_campaign=psf_combo_share_initial&utm_term=share_for_starters_page&share_bandit_exp=initial-34111100-en-US

  • Episode 402: Zeert Uth Vyess Eew Nack
I tried doing a little experimental thingy, where I wrote a song and then I sang it backwards so I could turn it around and hear a really weird version of the original lyrics. I'll post the turned around one next.
