  • Episode 401: Just to Hear Him Breathe (He's Old)
Here's the next song in the effed up relationship album. It's a chopped up version of "Just to Hear You Breathe," where the narrator is expressing concerns about the relationship that she doesn't want to share with the boyfriend-dude. In this song, she's worrying about how old he is, compared to her. She's like oh, no, he's going to die first cuz he's so old.

  • Episode 400: 2022 is a Bad Year for Music
Okay, yeah, I didn't want the sun to set on the crappy vocal performance in the last song without following it up with another song, whose vocal performance, far from being perfect, isn't has horrifically awful as the last one was.

  • Episode 399: Sleep Deprivation
Okay, I'm really not happy at all with the vocal performance on this one, and I'm not sure about the song, itself. Sleep deprivation, apparently, is really bad for one's singing voice. I guess that's why this song sucks so much - all that sleep deprivation made my voice sound like crap and poop and pee.

  • Episode 398: Just to Hear You Breathe
This is the next song in the album about a messed up relationship... It turns out to be a long distance relationship and the boyfriend tells the girlfriend about how wonderful it is to be together...when you wake up at night and hear your partner breathing...when you know they're alright...well, it's the best thing ever. In reality, this stuff really did happen 24 years ago, and I started writing a song about it. This song is my attempt to replicate that song. It never got recorded because in the end, I decided it wasn't that good.

  • Episode 397: Sadder Than Death (I Miss LA)
I went to Los Angeles and Pasadena and South Pasadena this week to tie up some loose ends from when I moved from there. Geez, man, it felt like no time had passed, even though I hadn't been there in 2 months. Driving around there, I felt like I could just go home to my old apartment and hang out there with my cats. Dang, man, I'm sad. I'm sadder than death cuz I miss that place so bad. But the friend I stayed with down there said I can come on down any time, so that's good. At least I can tool around in my old stomping grounds every few months or so.The picture is Pasadena City Hall that I took a few months before I moved. It's a really cool building. I dunno why the picture came out sideways.

  • Episode 396: 30 Minutes Catcauphony with Guitar
Hi All, I'm posting this 30 minute stretch of nothing but cats meowing with distorted guitar cuz I use it in my earbuds to block out the screaming kids who live next door to me. The other platform I had this on that I played it through went kerplooey, so I needed another way to play it. Bleh. Maybe Typepad is going toes up. Anyway, feel free to download this and use it for your own listening pleasure. If you have Bose Quiet Comfort earbuds and you play this, it'll block out screeaming kids like nobody's business. I should probably patent this but I'm too lazy.

  • Episode 395: And I Think I'll Give It A Try, Anyway
Here's the next song in the fucked up relationship album. I'm gonna tag it "explicit" cuz there's some mention of pot in it. This is the song where I chop up the previous one and make a new song out of the fragments of it. It's the song where you hear the main character's private thoughts that she wouldn't want the dude to know. This is the song, where she finds out he doesn't smoke pot and that gives her a teeny tiny bit of misgiving about the dude.

  • Episode 393: I Apologize Today
Yeah, this year, the year 2022, has been a disappointing year for music, dang it all. So, I wrote a li'l apology for all you listeners out there. I mean, I already wrote an apology song a while back, but I was in the mood to do another one.

  • Episode 392: Sad Sack Song
Sorry my songs have been mostly only just really angry or really sad (except for the album I'm workin' on). Maybe some of you out there are just as sad as me and might sorta relate to this song. If so, I hope you get happy again soon. I think I've identified what's messing up my voice...I'm hoping I can execute a solution soon and get things right again.
