  • Episode 370: Brace Yourself
I'm getting ready to start on my new album. It's gonna be a weird one. I mean, this song probably doesn't sound like what the new album is going to sound like cuz I was in the mood to sample myself playing very inept banjo and fiddle music. That was just for kicks. But yeah, stay tuned for the weirdness to come.

  • Episode 369: Make Them Go Away Forever
This is a song about how I moved to a neighborhood that has horrid, screeching, screaming kids in it. I hate hate hate hate hate the sound of kids. It's the most horribly, annoying craptastic sound on the face of the earth. I'm find with leaf blowers, chainsaws, loud helicopters, jackhammers, lawn mowers...I'm fine with a lot of annoying sounds. But screaming kids? Fuck that fucking fucking shit.

  • Episode 368: First Song of the New House
I just barely moved and I cain't find which box my music equipment is in so here's a really primitive version of a reprise of a song that fits my current mood. The rap part is about one thing that's very odd to me. I'm SO used to the ethnic diversity in Los Angeles. This part o' California is white people, white people, white people. SO many white people! I mean, I guess I blend in cuz I'm white, too, but I miss the diversity of my old neighborhood.

  • Episode 367: I Know I'm Gonna Be Real Sad
Here's the last song I'll ever record in this apartment. Sadness is all around. Geez, I hate moving. By this time next week, I'll be in the new place, and hopefully all my music stuff'll be set up. As you can tell, I don't have much of my music equipment with me, from the crappy-ness of the recording. Anyway. This song is about me being sad about moving.

  • Episode 366: Drunk Church Attempt #3
Today, I attempted to record a song that sounds like a drunk church, like I sometimes do. Gosh-darn it all...they never come out sounding like a drunk church when I try to make them sound like a drunk church. I think the most recent drunk-churchy-sounding song was the I Got Un-Hungry Tonight one. Oh well. But this is a decent enough little ditty, so here it is.

  • Episode 365: I Had a Dream
I had a dream this morning that I was in a band that was gonna do an open mike night. There was this one song I wanted to do where it alternated between singing and rapping, sorta like a call and response. I thought that would sound badass. So I wrote a song of that variety, but probably not as good as the one in the dream. Sorry for the crappy recording quality. I'm in the middle of a move and most of my music equipment is at the new place.

  • Episode 363: Maybe They Want to Hear It, After All
After I recorded yesterday's song, I realized, in retrospect, it sounded different than I'd initially imagined it, so I tried doing something that sounded a little more like how I imagined it. I dunno if this version sounds that much like how I'd imagined it, either. Maybe a little more than the other one. Not that I have a problem with the other one; this was just for fun.Anyway, I take the complainy-girl character from last night and put her in an alternate universe in which her friends wanna listen to what she has to say, and all that.
