  • Episode 265: What Are You Doing, You Butthole?
This is a song about having someone over who breaks all your stuff. See, when I was a kid, there were these friends of the family, and when they came over, my parents would make me and my brother hide all our toys in our closets. It's cuz the kids of that family break toys. We would've ended up with all these broken toys. This is a song about a butthole who breaks all of other people's stuff.

  • Episode 262: He's Going Up - Part 2
This is the next song in the possession album; I make another attempt to make something go up and up and up and up ad infinitum to illustrate the going-up-ness of the fire god character. It's also a re-visitation of a couple old themes.

  • Episode 260: Dancing Away From Paul
Here's one of those songs I impulsively recorded for shits and giggles. Y'all are probably gettin' tired of hearing about my abusive ex-boyfriend. You'll probably be hearin' a lot less about him in the near future, cuz I'm almost done writing the graphic novel about him, and he won't be on my mind as much.

  • Episode 259: Remix - Angels Song
I remixed the angels song cuz the rap in the beginning was too quiet, and there was this one part where the vocals distorted. Oddly, the flavor of the song changes when you make the beginning rap louder - in the other mix, when the chorus-y vocals came in, it sounded all dirge-like. Now, it sounds Abba-esque. Or, well, that's how I hear it, anyway.

  • Episode 258: He's Going Up
This is the next song in the possession album; the girl is watching the fire god go up into the sky, on his way to the sun. She's all sad. There're 2 parts of the song, where I attempted to make a chorus of voices go up and up and up and up and up forever. Like, they just keep going up. It's like one of those M.C. Escher stairways that go up and up. Or a barbershop pole, how it looks like the swirly things keep going up and up. I dunno if it worked or not. I tagged this song "explicit" cuz I say "f***k" at the very end. It might be hard to tell, though.Oh yeah, if you wanna get stoned and listen to it, the parts that go up and up sound really trippy.

  • Episode 257: There Were Angels Out Tonight
This song is a true story: a few weeks ago, me and a friend o' mine were in a pickle. The front end of her car got stuck on one of those curbstone parking place thingies. Long story short, we went to various places, looking to see if anyone had any solutions, and everyone was so nice. I mean, like, way super nice. It's like this little town in the valley was full of all these angels in human form. Everyone tried to help us out. Then these two women who knew a thing or two saw us messing around with the car, and one of them knew what to do! Those women got us out of our bind. They were angels. We wanted to buy them a drink at Starbucks, but they said something like pay it forward. This song came to me in a dream, and I decided to make it a Christmas song. Y'know, all these people we ran into, especially these 2 women, had angel-y goodness. Angels are very Christmas-y, so there you go.My voice sounds like poop tonight, but maybe that's okay because I was trying to go for the sound of a bunch of people in a church singing badly.
