A Movie so terrible, it changed the way we recorded. For the first time in this podcast's history, I had to postpone a recording. Ten Minutes in, over 30 notes, 5 voice messages, and an IMDb spiral, I couldn't bring myself to press play. So we took a breath, gave it some time, and came back to it, for our first-ever live reaction Audience Watch Along!

Mulligans (2008) Written by Charlie David, Executive produced by Charlie David, Starring Charlie David.  Charlie David spends 92 minutes trying to convince the audience that he's a closeted teen blissfully ignorant to destroying the family of his best friend by sleeping with the father who's only 8 years older than him. Shoehorn some Golf references to justify the title and bam. Garbage fire.

Hate Crime (2005). What a perfect way to describe this film. NOT to be confused with the  2012 Neo-Nazi found footage movie of the same name. Making that VERY clear. Carlotta, Stu and I gab for hours, and intermingle this affront to our very nature.  Is it the worst thing we've ever seen? Were we bored? Did we even end up watching it? Let's find out together!

Hate Crime (2005) Written  and Directed by Tommy Stovall, starring Seth Peterson, Bruce Davison, Chad Donella. Robbie and Trey are gay, middle-class, suburban professionals. Life is good. Until the son of a fundamentalist preacher moves in next door.

How do you interpret a film that is so heavy handedly spoon-feeding you metaphors, while still staying mind-numbingly confusing? In what could be our shortest review to a movie that was equal parts 90's as it was Canadian Independent,  Bear Sailor Moon, Carlotta and I try to decipher this mess. From bad acting to bi cuckolding, we wonder who gave awards to the strangest movie we've ever seen. 

The Hanging Garden (1997) Available on OuttvGo Written and Directed by Thom Fitzgerald, staring  Chris Leavins, Kerry Fox, Ian Parsons.  William, a once obese and depressed adolescent, is able to move past his teenage years when he moves to the city and comes out as being gay. When he returns home though, he can't cope with his memories.

Never straying far from life in the year 2000,  Stuart, Chad and PJ sit with me as we take a red pen to the Broken Hearts Club, a self proclaimed Romantic Comedy(?) This group of 10's looking for 11's Remembering Dean Cain, (No he's not dead, we just haven't seen him since 2003) who we would date from the film, and my compelling theory on how The Broken Hearts club takes place in the Buffyverse. It's compelling I say!

From Showers to stolen kisses we dive deep and rip into a poor guy somewhere in Innisfil we've never met. Sorry ...I wanna say Mark?
