And with that, Summer 2020 has come to a melancholic end. As probably one of the most polarizing seasons we have done on this show, the feeling is bittersweet. Some shows were full of action and stomping on final bosses, while some were hectic clusterducks that maybe kinda didn't go anywhere. Which shows were great? What was a bust? In a series of build ups and finales we have effectively seen the final boss of every show this season! The final boss may be a gauntlet of witches or the disappointing realization that a show may be letting us down for the last time. Don't worry, though, for we have cool bosses bustin' onto the scene as well! Even if one of them looks like a bad Halloween costume, it's the thought that counts... right? ...No? No matter how many times this man is given a chance, he just continues to ignore the please of the audience. Subaru, just say the thing! At least the action in God of Highschool is ramping up! As the season enters its last quarter we see a rise in quality from literally everything (even Gibiate, I know it's a miracle!) Disney has invaded our anime this week as our characters traverse the world of Monsters Inc.! Oh, that wasn't actually Monster's Inc.? Well at least we have space dinosaurs vs yakuza! The battle nobody knew they needed! The Evolvers are, well, evolving. Subaru may be finally progressing and we get a glimpse into Mori's childhood! But, was that even his flashback? Our shows don't know what they are anymore! You got your One Piece in my God of High School! And your JoJo OC in my Gibiate! Did you know Subaru isn't named Eugine? Fun fact. Wow, a lot of characters died this week. Like... A LOT of characters. At least the robots are alright (excluding that one)! Even if they are living under the ocean... but hey!
