RE:Casters Anime Podcast

The dark gets darker this week as some of our shows have their most brutal episodes yet! On the flip side of things some of the shows were downright hilarious! Mostly dark though. Not much light in here! But that being said some questions still remain. Can these shows pull themselves out of the darkness? Do we want them to? And most importantly- wait is Re:Zero's plot actually moving forward?! Find out on this week's episode of... This week's episode was a rollercoaster of emotions! A couple of our shows had the best episodes we've ever seen, which is truly amazing, and a couple episodes just dragged on longer than they should have. Sometimes flashbacks are nice and necessary, sometimes when you have 5 flashback episodes in a row it feels like maybe we should get back to the plot? To the contrary, what happens if instead of showing us what happened... somebody just tells you in two sentences something that feels like it could have been a whole arc. Oh well, at least Jujutsu Kaisen was amazing, as always. Which shows fell short? Can anything ever be better than JJK? Find out on this weeks episode of... RE:CASTERS EMINA ROASTCAST

This week feels a little different for a lot of reasons. Chip is on vacation and apparently so is The Promised Neverland! Nevertheless, we made the most of it with the four banging shows that we still got! A show we thought maybe wasn't living up to its first season finally starts to pull it back, we see old friends and new friends throw punches and cry tears, and most importantly, in classic shonen fashion, we have a wonderful week of one guy punching another guy! But in shonen isn't it about the friends we made along the way? Perhaps... but the punching part is still great! Which shows got us the most hyped? And which shows started to slide? This week's running theme pumped through our veins like oxygen, breathing life into our questions as we crossed the finish line... only to find out that the race answered none of our questions! A beloved character returns, a mysterious witch emerges, a shut-in vampire slinks out from the depths of a closet! And among all that there is one thing for certain... I have no idea what the heck is going on! But that does leave the most important question of all... Will anything actually happen in this season of Slime??? We can only hope so! This week gives us a nice mixed bag of questions answered and questions asked. For every punching panda there's a third core, for every tiny white haired child there is a somewhat complicated backstory, and for every bunker there are more puzzles than a mansion straight out of resident evil! But with all that's going on, there's one thing we can say for certain. And that's that things are definitely heating up! But which episodes were hype as heck? And which one's were full of pure adorableness? Find out on this week's episode of... RE:CASTERS ANIME PODCAST

Progress! Oh so much progress. Secret bases, conclusive fights, brand new characters, and many MANY barrels of beer grace our presence this week as we gently ease into the new season! Some shows indicate promise of rising tension as secrets get uncovered, while others just stay delightfully hilarious, even if there are threats looming just around the corner. Which shows have us sweating? And which ones have us laughing hysterically? Find out on this week's episode of... RE:CASTERS ANIME PODCAST!

Sequels! As far as the eye can see!... rule over this season and that may not be a bad thing! Some of our favorite shows return, as well as a few brand new shows that already look great! Can these sequels quench the thirst we felt when the shows originally aired? How many sweet fight scenes and monsters can you cram into the first two episodes of a season? Will Subaru finally get his stuff together? We can only hope. Find out what we think on this weeks episode of ... RE:CASTERS ANIME PODCAST! For this season's bonus episode we decided to Naruto run down memory lane and watch some classic childhood shonens! And, obviously, there's only one real way to do that... while under the influence of alcohol of course! Did the movies stand the test of time or are they actually straight garbage? What did we drink? And, most importantly, does Jesse remember anything at all from Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow? Find out on this week's episode of... RE:CASTERS ANIME PODCAST!

This week wraps up our Fall 2020 season and what a GOOD. FINISH. IT. WAS. Sakuga as far as the eye can see! Sweet motorcycle flips and tricks, a vampire lord slapping people silly, a fight with an evil spirit, and not one... but three of the best rap songs all season! Nothing can top the sheer amount of quality present in this week's episodes as each show airs it's season finale. Did every finale stick the landing, though? Or did some fall flat on their face? Blades, fists, code, and, most importantly, flashbangs are flying this episode as we experience some of the coolest looking (and sounding) fights all season! Whether we're going toe to toe with a Minotaur, an evil spirit, a super computer, a dangerous world threatening organization, or just trying to figure out how to survive a plane crash, everyone's dealing with something! As we begin to ramp up towards the end of the season we can only dream of what might happen next. The only guarantee? It's going to be intense! So, which fights were great and which fights were not so great? Find out this week on... REC:ASTERS ANIME PODCAST!
