Lewis Armstrong and Brendan Iredale from Sydney band Blue Velvet (as well as Paul Blart and the Blart Blarts, Presqué Vu and one of Newcastle's best extinct hardcore bands Pasha Bulka) join the podcast this week for a battle between Idles 'Joy As An Act Of Resistance' and Viagra Boys 'Street Worms'! 

One of Newcastle's most exciting new artists, Teleah Riordan AKA Teddie joins us this week to chat another couple of cool albums from a couple of cool artists - Clairo 'Immunity' against Rex Orange County 'Pony'! 

Two of the coolest artists with two fire debut albums hit the show this week! 'Lush' by Snail Mail and 'Clean' by Soccer Mommy! Also, our new segment 'The Pitch' really hits a new gear.

Joe Willis from Newcastle's Split Feed (also the band that we happen to play in) joins the podcast this week to chat a couple of recent punk beauties! Pup 'The Dream Is Over' and Remo Drive 'Greatest Hits'. Both albums hit us at the right time in our lives and are still on our heavy rotations!

Luca Brasi guitarist and absolute legend Thomas Busby joins us this week to chat about two of his all time favourite albums - 'Sometimes Things Just Disappear' by Polar Bear Club and 'A Flight And A Crash' by Hot Water Music. Both albums heavily influenced Busby and the rest of Luca Brasi in their formative years, and both are right up our alleys as well! Plus, we debut a new segment - The Pitch!

The albums have been seeded 1 through to 32 based on the score that we gave them in their respective episodes, and we're chucking them in an elimination style tournament! Brae Fisher from Dear Seattle joins us this week to chat two of his favourite albums from two of Britain's biggest bands - 'The Bends' by Radiohead and 'Parachutes' by Coldplay! A damn fine chat with some damn average tattoo ideas. 

Two bands with die-hard followings go up against each other this week on the pod! Modern Baseball and their sophomore album 'You're Gonna Miss It All' takes on Melbourne's The Smith Street Band and their record 'Throw Me In The River'. The first Australian album hits the podcast this week, courtesy of The Avalanches’ 2000 debut ‘Since I Left You’ (we know it's taken 13 weeks for our Australian podcast to cover an Australian act - get off our backs pls). And it’s taking on another huge debut effort, ‘In Colour’ from Jamie xx!
