Recovery from a substance use disorder is challenging for anyone—but even more so for teens. They face the regular pressures of moving from childhood into adulthood, while also learning how to stay clean and sober. Rev. Anna Shouse is joined by Julie McElrath, LMSW, LCDC, who is the executive director of University High School in Austin, Texas, a school dedicated to supporting teens in recovery from drug and alcohol dependency.
