MARCH 2021 Starting her career in tech at 16 years old Kelsey hustled for a decade in product marketing.

In 2015 she confronted her issues with alcohol and got sober! Finding her "happy place" in the kitchen, Kelsey began baking, stumbling on a great egg-sub that made her cookie dough safe to eat! She then took the leap, quit her career and started Doughp in 2017 continuing to share her story in hopes of inspiring others.

Kelsey’s claim to fame was not only making a splash on Shark Tank, being named Forbes 30 Under 30, and honored with the Vegas 40 Under 40 designation.

Lori and Kelsey chat all things business and recovery, including personal stories of failed relationships, successful business ventures, and the complementary bottle of wine from the Marriott, that turned into a day of drinking, black outs and waking up in a stranger’s apartment.

MARCH 2021 A gut-wrenching 100% raw & real guest interview. Mischelle tells Lori she has "never ever met a woman who drank like I did." It was ugly; it was hardcore; and it was uncommon for someone who always held a career in executive management where NO ONE talked about addiction. There was A LOT of guilt and shame surrounding her alcoholism.

Mischelle considered herself a low-bottom drunk by all definitions imagined. She came from a place of inter-generational trauma involving sexual abuse, suicide, and issues with food. She drank so long and so hard that she completely blew-up her pancreas and now relies on an insulin pump for survival.

A chronic relapser, it took Mischelle 17 years to string three sober months together... having 3 years for the first time ever! In her words, "the only thing I ever ever did right, was I kept coming back after, six DUIs, 3 prison bids, 12 ICU stints, and 2 comas; I continued to drink; until I didn't."  Joyously so many women are finding recovery early and earlier in their journey before they have fallen to the complete depths of hell.

FEBRUARY 2021 In January of 2020, after drinking 1 gallon of tequila and ingesting 600 pills, Sarah found herself waking up in a hospital, pissed as all get out that the administration did not follow her “do not resuscitate” orders. Having been in and out of numerous treatment facilities, separated from her husband and child for years, suffering from mental and physical illnesses since childhood, with no will to live, Sarah’s self-worth was in debt and she felt it time to file for bankruptcy.

With the power of prayer and universal good juju from a slew of strangers responding to a social media post, Sarah miraculously came out of a 5-day coma with all her faculties about her.

JANUARY 2021 Just when you think you've heard it all... Listen to Lori's candid conversation with Danielle about her journey to recovery (alcohol, pills) and all the shit that happened before... WHOA, you won't believe it. 

BIO: Danielle Gregorich (known as DG) is an Amazon Best Selling author, recently self-publishing her book: Stroke of Sobriety.  A 36-year-old Arizona native, Air Force wife, and mother of two children, Danielle is a multiple suicide attempt survivor, a kidney cancer survivor, and a stroke survivor.

DG started writing about her sobriety publicly in 2018 after she suffered a massive stroke four months into her recovery journey. That stroke took away her ability to speak, read, and write. Her speech therapist suggested that she started writing to stimulate her brain function to regain these abilities. She began writing in the early morning each and every day. She wrote authentically and raw about her struggles with sobriety, marriage, and motherhood. Writing quickly became cathartic and therapeutic and played a crucial role during her first year of sobriety. During DG's first year of sobriety, she overcame multiple struggles and obstacles. Sobriety did not come easily for Danielle, but she embraced the suck of sobriety with faith and hope that she would eventually get back her happiness. She currently works at a treatment center in Mesa, AZ. She is a public speaker sharing her experience, strength, and hope anytime she gets the opportunity.  She wrote Stroke of Sobriety - The Essential Daily Guide - Embracing the suck of sobriety, with hope that she will inspire someone keep fighting in their first year of sobriety.

“Big things have happened. I have recently left my job as a Financial Advisor that I had for 20 years. I left my position as I had been doing my money coaching on the side for two years. Money Coaching is my passion, and it became clear to me on what I needed to pursue full time. I love what I do.

Let's back up a bit, I want you to know where I have come from and where I am now.

I was a financial disaster. Yes, you read that right, a DISASTER. I worked in the financial industry but I wasn't paying attention.

I got sober in March 2014. I wish I could tell you that when this happened it got better. It did not. It actually got worse regarding my spending. I was looking for things outside of myself to make myself happy. I was emotionally spending money; impulsive buying was something I was VERY familiar with.

In 2016 is when I really started to work on my spending issues and my passion of my recovery really started. My mentor suggested I become a money coach. That initially felt like I would be a fraud since I was such a mess financially. Someone said to me "Sometimes you need to teach what you have to learn". Life changing moment.

I started my money coach training which involved me getting my own money coaching. I got the opportunity to really work through my "stuff" and it was life changing. I continued to finish my Money Coaching Certification and in the meantime I also completed my She Recovers® Coach training and my Certified Recovery Coach training.

I officially became a Recovery Coach that specializes in Financial Recovery.

I continue everyday to work my Financial Recovery and focus on what is right for me and my relationship with money. It is such beautiful experience and I love that my life now involves everything money! So grateful.

My coaching style is to really focus on your relationship with money. I love to start with how you currently feel about money and focus on what you want to change and how to do that. If we can change our behaviours then the numbers will change with it. I love getting specific with my clients on goals THEY want to achieve and what feels good to them.

It starts with the foundation on how you feel and what you want to change. Running numbers can be overwhelming but it gets ALOT easier when you know why you want to pay attention to your money.

I am living proof that you can turn your story around. I never thought I would feel financially free. I never thought it was possible. It is.
