The Milestone Pursuit

Recovery Ramble no.6

Listen Later

In this, the latest in the Recovery Ramble series I talk about social media inspired by the Netflix documentary (the Social Dilemma) and Facebook's response (see link here..https://about.fb.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/What-The-Social-Dilemma-Gets-Wrong.pdf).

This ramble basically talks about the ups, the downs of social media and some thoughts on how to deal with the more negative elements. I even talk about Shawn Mendes. I nearly sang.

This follows previous episodes (nos 12, 15, 25, 44 and 59) which included rambles about my journey in running, what The Milestone Pursuit is trying to do, the importance of values driven purpose, imposter syndrome ad short termism. In particular it builds on the idea of imposter syndrome.

FYI - I'm not immune to any of this, I'm not perfect, you don't have to agree with what I say, and that's part of the point I make.
