From the hills of eastern Kentucky, Beattyville native and  singer-songwriter, Derek Spencer found a passion for songs, like so many  other Appalachian youths, in church - at his mother's side singing from  the Sunday hymnal. Laura and Casey have been playing music in living rooms, around  campfires, on sidewalks and on stage in a multitude of states and a few  countries since they met in February 2016 in Austin, TX.
