This Sunday we kicked off the new "Bona Fide: Real Faith" series through the book of James. We got to know the letter and its writer a bit and then dove right in. James doesn't waste any time, but gets right down to it, with faith being put to the test under the intense pressure of trials and temptation. If you're up for the challenge, listen in.

This Sunday Josh, Billy, and Royce lead us through Red Sea's Vision, Mission, and Strategy and how God is working in and through us His Gospel. Royce also introduced our next series, Bona Fide: Real Faith, a series in James.

This week was the final sermon to close our Colossians Series. It has been an incredible series to refocus on the Gospel and how it impacts our daily lives. Billy closed out Paul’s letter to the Colossians.

Many times we find ourselves doing the work of Christ, but leaving out the message of Christ. It's not just enough that our actions are Christ-like, we must be willing to speak God's love to those who are not Christians. This week we looked at Paul's challenge in Colossians 4:5-6 to speak.

Prayer. Why is something so simple to describe so hard to do? What does prayer look like in the life of a person who is being transformed by the gospel? This week we looked at Paul's instruction to us on prayer found in Colossians 4:2-4.

We continued our study of Colossians this week by looking at the relationship slaves have with their masters. Although slavery in our culture is a thing of the past, everyone has to answer to a higher authority. The most common place we see this is at our jobs. Listen in as we talk about living out the gospel through our place of work.

In this Sunday's scripture the Gospel is going to hit us "close to home". It's easy to hide in our extended community, job, even church relationships and activities. But at home, in the tight quarters of family, we find out what we're really made of. True discipleship and Christian community begins at home. Wives, husbands, parents, kids, we all have a role to play in building healthy, growing families that glorify God in this broken world.

-This is the 9th sermon in our 14 week Colossians series called The Walk: -We are transformed towards maturity and experience victory of sin in our lives as we “Live our lives according to the pattern of the gospel”. The same gospel that saves us transforms us, here and now, day by day. We never move beyond the gospel to something else. Repentance and faith are not just our initial response to the gospel, they are the pattern by which we live according to the gospel. Sunday, we looked at "how" this is done.
