  • Holly Stephey Talks about PrivacyStar and Jeff Stalnaker, CEO & President First Orion Corp
First Orion, a corporation with a significant intellectual property portfolio dedicated to phone privacy and preference, have an app known as PrivacyStar™ application for BlackBerry® smartphones. PrivacyStar can be downloaded by visiting www.PrivacyStar.com. PrivacyStar will be available via other smartphones and telephone carriers beginning early next year.
PrivacyStar is a simple-to-use yet powerful privacy app that enables users to take complete control of their phones by reporting potential telemarketing violators to regulatory enforcement authorities, blocking any and all unwanted callers, using Caller Lookup to identify unknown callers and providing the flexibility to change their privacy preferences directly on the BlackBerry or on their own synchronized personal web portal account.
The new PrivacyStar app is the first and only mobile privacy app that helps authorities identify and locate potential telemarketing violators. PrivacyStar captures detailed information about possible violations including date, time, number and identity and allows the user to provide this information to law enforcement authorities for investigation.
“While federal and state Do Not Call programs have been successful, we believe that millions of unwanted calls and telemarketing violations occur each day in the United States,” said Jeff Stalnaker, president of First Orion. “A major contributor to this problem is the inability to identify and quickly shut down violators. PrivacyStar not only empowers callers to immediately decide who can no longer call them, it also provides regulatory agencies with new capabilities to identify and shut down the worst violators. Another very popular feature offered by PrivacyStar is the Caller Look-up feature that allows users to find the name associated with a phone number with a simple keystroke.”

Originally established as a side project from Talking Heads, Tom Tom Club comprised a loose aggregation of musicians, sound engineers and artists of the Compass Point All Stars family, including Tina Weymouth's sisters and guitarist Adrian Belew, the latter of whom toured with Weymouth and Frantz in the expanded version of Talking Heads in 1980 and 1981.
In 1991, Frantz and Tina Weymouth built the Clubhouse, a painting and music studio, over their garage near Gamecock Island, Connecticut. In 1992 they released the fourth Tom Tom Club album, Dark Sneak Love Action, which included a cover of Hot Chocolate's "You Sexy Thing". The album focused on the burgeoning techno-music scene. A single, "Sunshine & Ecstasy," featured remixes by Roger Sanchez.

One of the album's tracks, "Who Feelin' It", was also featured in remixed form in the soundtrack album of the 1999 film American Psycho. Among the musicians on The Good the Bad and the Funky are Jamaican singer Mystic Bowie, Pettigrew and Toots of Toots & the Maytals. The album's release was followed by one European, and several American, tours.

  • Sharon Hamilton Writer talks to Red Velvet Media
Sharon Hamilton is now a full time writer, previously owning and operating several successful businesses her family now runs.
She is fascinated with what makes people do what they do, which is how she found her way to romance novels and her writing career. She loves capturing on paper that little space between two people, the magnetism and forces that bring them together, and in some cases, keeps them apart.
Sharon loves all things paranormal, but especially angels, dark angels, guardians, golden vampires and witches light and dark. Recurring are themes of redemption through true love and sacrifice, honor and loyalty, good vs. evil. Her worlds include Heaven, not 100% perfect by design, the Underworld, not 100% evil by accident, and the human world, the stage on which these battles are fought.
In Sharon’s stories, True love heals, in the gardens of the heart. And, like in any good romance, there is always the satisfying conclusion, the Happily Ever After. She believes romance helps bring the reality of a Happily Ever After to her readers’ lives.
All Sharon’s stories take place in the Wine Country, Sonoma County, California, where she has lived all of her adult life.

  • The Spies and Red Velvet Media !
Los Angeles based band, The Spies have been perfecting their brand of indie-pop for five years. With two self-released albums (Old Ghosts 2007 and Televolution 2009), two music videos, one national tour, and multiple song placements in Film and TV (CW, FOX, ABC) the band has been building a very loyal fan base since 2006. Conceived as collaboration between longtime friends, The Spies have evolved into much more as their career has progressed.
In 2001 and 2002 respectively, Mark Matkevich and Leo Francis moved from their native Philadelphia to Los Angeles to pursue acting, music, and warmer weather. The two decided to start a new project together and immediately began collaborating on all new material. In late 2005, after months of playing out as a two-piece (Mark on keys, Leo on guitars) in small venues and coffee shops, the two began to look for a permanent bass player. Shortly thereafter, Adrian Barrio auditioned for the band. Adrian’s driving melodic bass-lines became a backbone of the band’s sound, and with the addition of Dylan Giagni's unrelenting and aggressive style of drumming, The Spies completed their signature sound.
With the band’s live show in top form, The Spies are constantly winning over new fans with infectiously catchy rock performed at high-intensity. The music they create pays homage to their influences while still sounding completely original. It has its’ roots in blues and rock and roll, weaving them together in melodic lines that make the music feel almost familiar and easily relatable. The Spies’ music “will please fans of rootsy-rockers like, Wilco and Elvis Costello” and the band “…range from ultimate Pop/Rock dynamos to melancholy wordsmiths and back.” With new music and plenty of new shows on the horizon, it’s a good time to become a fan of The Spies.

  • Lumonics Talks to Holly Stephey and lights the way!
Join Me as I talk to b-ray ,Long time friend representing the Lumonics crew ..This will be a show you don't want to miss and the colors will keep you flowing all day!
I have been friends with this Crew for a long time and there images are far beyond belief..They have created many Images for many well known Music Industry artists as well as influences of the years here and past!
Dorthy Tanner and the Crew have created some of the most one of a kind creations that "Light has the power to create, define, and solidify; or leave in shadow that which we believe to be real."
    Quote from Dorothy Tanner!
"The major challenge for me in art is to keep under control the tyranny of a logical mind. The spirit that moves me is capricious, unruly and irreverent. Most of my work grows out of intuitive impulse — the rest gets underway by just playing."
Lumonics is a "light and sound sanctuary" that came to be as a result of a spiritual experience. Lumonics is...light sculptures that illuminate the space, delight the eye and fire the imagination...
Lumonics has a huge following and I urge you to become one of the followers if you have not seen Lumonics .. you have not seen the dream!

  • Red Velvet media Talks to Side FX
Kim Cameron and the SideFX band offer an eclectic blend of pop, rock and jazz into a smooth, groovy listening experience. Think Carly Simon with an attitude.
The group launched their first album, Contradictions in the September 2008. Combining a fresh, genre-shifting sound with inspired and deeply personal lyrics, every song in the album is wrapped around a personal experience of lead singer/songwriter, Kim Cameron. Gaining popularity quickly throughout the Washington, D.C., and Baltimore, MD area, SideFX offers an alternative sound that is all their own.
The SideFX band officially came together in 2007 when they began expanding their basement jamming sessions to local restaurants, benefits and venues. In April 2007, Kim Cameron was inspired to write the songs in Contradictions after her brother-in-law was diagnosed with cancer. Writing songs became a positive outlet for expressing how much he had made an impact on her life. “My goal with writing and singing is to help take people away from a frustrating day or sad place and bring them back home – and home is not a location, but rather a place that you can feel grounded and safe,” says Kim.
The album name Contradictions carries hidden meanings. It represents the clash between the upbeat sounds and the lyrical content and the album’s lack of a fixed genre. For Kim, the true contradiction is: “What you see is not always what you get. Inside all of us are some hidden truths or talents that are often overlooked.”
A gift for storytelling makes each song by Kim Cameron an unraveling tale that effortlessly connects the listener with the music. Her lyrics speak to life’s journey, exploring emotional relationships and drawing strength from life experiences. The songs reveal a surprising depth—from lyrics about disillusioned troops (“My Hero”), to the temptations of a budding romance (“Come a Little Closer”), to an intimate portrait of a trapped woman who would “rather hide under MySpace eyes”
