From Hebrews 10:26-39. As the day draws near, let us be warned to cling to Christ and nothing more. Let us look for and celebrate the fruits of the Holy Spirit in our lives and ask for more of it!

Because we are rooted in Jesus, let's make it our goal to fix our heart and mind to live in specific, particular ways. Hebrews 10:19-25 points us to 3 specific ways to live because of what Jesus has done.

Because of what Jesus has done for us and who He is, we have access to God. Let us be found approaching God, clinging to God, and leading others towards Him. Do you take advantage of the access that Jesus has purchased for you?

Jesus gives His people eternal & complete access to the Father. What does it look like to live with access to God? How are you going to stand on that day when you are before Him? Are we eagerly awaiting for Him?

From Hebrews 9:1-22. The work of the new covenant that Christ came to accomplish is far greater, more glorious, and far more eternal and life changing than anything the old covenant could ever accomplish. The blood of Jesus Christ accomplishes eternal realities that the blood of animals and work of human priests could never accomplish.

From Hebrews 6:8-13. Jesus brought the new covenant to the people of God. What is better about this new covenant and how do we live a new life in the new covenant now?

In all ways, Jesus is better. He always stands to minister to His people and will do so forever. It is better for Jesus to be the answer for the promises of God, now and forever. Where are you looking for better ways other than Jesus to satisfy your soul? If Jesus is better, then everything Jesus brings to us is better.

From Hebrews 7:1-28. Jesus Christ always stands to minister to His people and He will do so, forever. Jesus is unchanging, always & forever.

Knowing Christ shapes who we are. All promises flow through Jesus, God's one & only son. Because of this, we know that Jesus is our sure and steadfast anchor. Will you trust the promises that God has given us?

Perpetual dullness towards the lordship and leadership of God is dangerous. This passage challenges us to know Christ, walk in His grace, and be changed by it. By way of application, we should ask - are we tied (anchored) to Jesus or are we just pretending?
