We are currently in a season where our world has forgotten how to live in community. As the Church, If we're going to truly love one another we need to be humbly generous with all that God has entrusted us with.

In Light of God's Mercies: Live Passionately for Jesus

In this section we see that the Gospel calls those in the body of Christ out of arrogance and pride toward God and others, to a place of humility and love.

In this section, Paul shows us three things, the antinomy of faith, 2 pitfalls to faith, and the essence of faith.

There is great mystery in God that sometimes we struggle to wrap our minds around. Why would God choose some but not others? Is God not just? Is this unbiblical? This morning Paul shows us how God is sovereign in election and by this He receives even more glory.

The logic of the Gospel is that whatever is in you, outside of you, that would seek to derail or hinder Gods love for you has been put to bed in the Gospel.

Paul shows us how to wait patiently in the midst of suffering. We do this through a future hope and two works of God that enable us to endure.

In the struggle with sin, we have been empowered to turn from sin and to live a new life while being reminded who we now are in Christ. There is no condemnation for us. Even better, we are adopted by God as sons and heirs to the Kingdom.
