Having our hearts changed by the gospel should motivate us to proclaim it to others. This can bear fruit not only with those who are yet to believe but strengthen those who do. Paul sees this as a gift to share and when others are deeply moved by the Gospel, it is a mutual encouragement.

In this opening section of Romans we see that the Gospel is good news about Jesus, that calls us to Jesus.

Oppression has always been a part of our world but God uses His people to be a community of justice to speak out against injustices and love all people well.

This passage shows us that if we really believe the Gospel, we would become a community marked by justice and mercy.

How can lasting peace and unity be established? This passage shows us how the reconciling work of Christ provides unity in a fractured and divided world.

Because we are created in God’s image every person has dignity, equality, and worth. And as people who have been recreated in Christ, we reflect God’s goodness, care, and love

How does one move from angst, confusion, anxiety, to a place of trust. In this section, Habakkuk shows us what transformed his life in the midst of his difficult circumstances, which can change and transform us as well.

God finally tells Habakkuk what judgment will look like for Babylon. But in the midst of these five woes we see what we should put our trust in.
