Redemption Unveiled

Over the past few weeks, I have been feeling overwhelmed, discouraged and heavy. All of these feelings are fine to have, but I felt God calling me to let some things go, set new boundaries and be obedient to Him in a new way. 

When things don't turn out how we expected them to, it's so easy to question if we are making the right decisions. Are we even hearing God right? Am I on the right path?

A part that can be really challenging about living the life God is calling you to is that sometimes God will ask you to let some things go. Let go of habits and behaviors that we have developed over time because they will no longer serve us in our life because of where God is taking us.

Do you feel like God is asking you to do something that doesn't make sense...especially financially?

I think we can get in this habit of hearing God call us to do something, but then we stop, look at our finances and dive into the logical part of our brains and say, "Nope, that doesn't make sense for me to do right."

God doesn't need it to make sense to us. Nor is He going to wait for it to be a comfortable experience for us. 

Let's be the women who step and say yes to God, no matter our current situation!

The more I walk with God, the more I realize that my ways are not His ways. My timing is not His timing.

Accepting God's invitation isn't always a party. Or maybe God's definition of a party is different than mine. God likes the scenic route. He doesn't give us the most efficient or quick way to go about things He has asked us to do and it can be incredibly disappointing. The journey isn't what we expected, the destination was nothing like what we thought it would be.

What I do know...God does have something wonderful for us when we accept His call on our life. We may not see it now and it may take way longer than we would have hoped, but He does have wonderful things for us when we follow His call on our life.

I didn't understand. Was God playing tricks on me? This didn't make sense.

He kept promising me a treasure, that He would lead me to beautiful things. I was putting in the work and I wasn't seeing results. Why was He doing this to me?

Why wasn't He telling me how to do it? Why didn't He make sure I was prepared? Why didn't He provide me any sort of instructions or directions to follow. I didn't know if I was able to do this.

He simply said, "Follow Me."

What do you have?

Whether you are in a season of feeling like you don't have much time, money, resources, etc do you look at what you DO have and give what God is asking of you?

Today, I share one of my experiences in life where God gifted me with exactly what I asked for, yet I was feeling like a victim. God was asking for my time, but I kept saying, "I have no time." But when I really thought about it, I realized that I did have 5 minutes here and there. That's what I DID have, and I gave that time to Him.

Do you feel blindsided by God?

Something in your life was disappointing or tragic. You felt that God didn't prepare you for what happened. So you take a rest. You stop saying yes and spend your time kind of on the sidelines of life, still believing God, but having removed yourself from the game.

You have grace to stop and rest.
You have grace to stay and rest.
You have grace to die there....

But you will miss out on the life God has for you.
