Sometimes looking back can be more powerful than forward looking. We can look back and evaluate the steps we took, the mistakes and hurdles we encountered and what became of it.

The whole point of taking God's adventure is to become free and healed. Not to become perfect.

I encourage you to start acting on what you think God is asking you to do, move forward and then look back and evaluate to see if you have more clarity than you did before.

I believe that there are four seasons that we experience in this life (not the 4 seasons of the year lol). 

Clueless
Darkness
The Fog
Clarity

No matter what season we are currently in, we are all experiencing difficulty and we each have our own preferences of what season feels most comfortable.

As someone who grew up in the Christian Culture, I had this divide of feelings. When I did Christian things, I would feel very Christian, and then I would do "normal" things and that was just part of life. Over time, I discovered that God doesn't only call us to pray for someone or show up to a church service. He calls us to do "normal" things like text someone just to say hi, send a thoughtful card to someone, etc.

I strongly believe that we shouldn't feel like we have no idea what is going on in our life. Some days, we can feel like we are running in all different directions and at the end of the day, we wonder what we even accomplished.

Confusion can rob us of a lot of things. One thing it takes from us is that confusion can make us feel like we have no purpose. This simply isn't true. God created you for a reason. Purpose is why are you are. You just need some clarity.

One of the greatest enemies in our lives is confusion. To gain clarity, we have to stay focused.

As a person who is easily distracted, I full-heartedly understand that this is easier said than done. We need to know how to prioritize our focus, eliminate distractions and move forward one step at a time.

This is a story about a woman who felt a call. It seemed insignificant, stupid and dangerous to those around her, but she felt such a strong pull to learn and arrive at the place this call was inviting her to. Here is the full story of the journey.

It is easy to let go of something we feel is important to us because it is too difficult, the timing isn't right or the people around us don't understand, believe or even support what we are feeling called to do. It can be hard to push through all of the what ifs and the critics, but when we do, we realized exactly why we were called to do it in the first place.

We made it to another year and I can't help but look at what is important for 2023.

There is so much going on in the world right now that feels heavy and discouraging. It really has me thinking and wondering, "God, what am I supposed to do about this right now?" Then I realized that what I need to do is very clear.

I need to get focused on what God is asking of me. He created us for a time such as this. We have purpose in this moment, in this time of the world. We are meant to do exactly what God is asking each of us to do. No more. No less. If we can focus on our individual purposes, that is exactly what we are meant to do for this world right now.
