We discuss the words and attitudes that make the actions of Tzedaka what they should be, we focus on the meaning of the word "Tzedaka", which is untranslatable into English as it combines in English two contradictory words, and informs how we see our role as a giver, we consider our role of seeking God, with the promise in our Parsha that if our seeking is genuine and earnest, we will reach God, and we reflect on the unique opportunity during this year's High Holidays, when health precautions will dampen or quiet the inspiring music of our prayers, to instead focus more deeply our private prayers, our silent moments with God.
