After the shift, can we find hope and love and identify it, or has the vacuum effect made us too damaged and angry to embrace love and hope again?

The People Complain Harshly

In life, you will not always see the punishment of the wicked. It may look as if the wicked prosper and get away with all sorts of evil. But God was telling his people that there will be a day of accountability when he will confront those who have loved and obeyed him and those who have done evil works.

There is considerable argument about whether the principle of tithing carries over into NT living. The early church seemed to understand that their lives were to be completely given to the lord, meaning that all that we possess now belongs to Him regardless of the way it is given; it is hard to find a person who really loves the lord and does not give to God.

We will begin studying the book of Malachi and the message that God present to them after their exile. They were returned to their land and were proposed to resume worship and reverence for God. However, many things happened during this time that prevented them from honoring God in spirit and in truth. Thus, Malachi details the story of the Children of Israel’s character and zeal for worship. This series will look at the spiritual and emotional lessons that today’s believers should discern and as we continue into further chapters, try to put yourselves in the shoes of the Children of Israel and ask yourself if you would do and feel the same.

Tonight's discussion is about the Children of Israel and God's desire to restore them back to His fellowship after their exile. They were exiled to Babylon due to disobedience and their need to worship other gods, and this meant judgment from God because His commandment states that "you shall love the Lord with all of your heart, soul, strength, and mind. And You shall serve no other god before me"  The Children of Israel built their early existence on worshipping and serving the Canaanite gods.  However,  God warned them that he was displeased, but they did not listen until it was too late. Do we find ourselves living like them? or have we decided to walk in obedience to God's plan and purpose? Join us and listen to tonight's podcast.

Dealing with grief and loss is very painful. losing a person or a pet can e devastating. I lost my pet this past Sunday to stomach cancer. My wife and I are grieving, and along with our other dogs, we are trying to find ways to uplift and encourage each other.  Talking about our grief helps to heal, and healing is essential to living.  As men and women, we must always try to send words of support and comfort when someone we know is hurting.
