This episode takes us through Psalm 64. Here we see the Psalmist asking God to preserve his life from fear and enemies. Asking that he be hid from those seeking his harm. God's response, to take down those coming against the Psalmist. Are we facing something today that we could use God's help with? Have you asked Him to come and protect you? 

Here we get to open Psalm 63 and explore what it has to teach us. Here we are told that because of the lovingkindness of our Father our lives are better. Have you stopped to think or ask God to help you in your life? The Psalmist also tells us that we should be seeking God early, wanting to get to know Him better. Are we doing that in our lives, or do we have room for improvement? 

We continue our journey through Psalm 62 here in this episode. The theme that God is our salvation is repeated, making us realize it is important and not something we should forget. Because our Father is our refuge, salvation, strength, and defense, we can come before Him and pour out our hearts. Letting Him know what is weighing on us and going on in life. We do not have to carry life's burdens by ourselves. 

We get to start learning from Psalm 62 in this episode. Here the characteristics of our Father, our rock, defense, and salvation are described. In confidence of knowing this about Him, when we are in troubling situations we should wait on the Lord, knowing that because He cares in great abundance for us, we will not be moved. 

We wrap up Psalm 61 in this episode. Here we continue in the discussion from the last episode where we saw that God promises us a heritage of spending eternity with Him. In these verses from Psalm 61, we learn that God will prolong life and give many generations. So, we should praise Him and daily He will grant us the ability to perform our undertakings. 

We get to begin a discussion in Psalm 61 in this episode. Here we see the Psalmist ask that God hear his prayer. He then mentions that from the ends of the earth he will make his request known to God. No matter where we are or what we are going through, God hears and sees us, we can always turn to Him for guidance. The Psalmist then tells us that God is our strong tower and gives us a heritage. How caring and loving our Father is. 

We continue our journey in Psalm 60 here in this episode. We see the Psalmist discuss a battle that he had had and was facing again. In that moment he reflected through questions where he got power and was it not because God had not gone with his army at the first battle that he lost? So, he asks for God to help and we are told that through our Father, we will do valiantly and our enemies will be no longer. What are you facing today that you can bring before our Father and let Him help you?  

In this episode, we begin to explore Psalm 60. Here the Psalmist tells us that God has scattered the people and God is displeased. This brought destruction to the earth, but in this moment the Psalmist does not fear or become hopeless. Instead, he mentions that we will face hard things and be given a uniting banner to be displayed in truth. Then we will be delivered and saved, coming back into favor with God. 

We continue walking in Psalm 59 in this episode. Here we read about the actions and consequences of a prideful mouth. This brought us to a discussion about the power of our Father. When we are in trouble, we can sing to Him because He is our refuge, defense, and strength. Is there a situation in your life you can bring before God instead of stressing about yourself?

The Psalmist literally tells us here that because of the strength of our Father we can wait. So, though we are in the middle of a storm of trying situations or things are not going as we would plan or wish, because of His strength and ability to care for us, we can wait and He will provide.
