Today on Wake Up Tri-Counties RaeAnn Tucker from the Henry and Stark County Health Department joined WKEI to discuss the lowest number of new test confirmed cases of COVID-19 since April of 2022. Between Henry and Stark County there were a total of 20 test confirmed cases of COVID-19 over the seven days prior to Tuesday, October 4th. This is good news but there is still more to be done as we head into the Winter season. The Henry and Stark County Health Department are set to hold a series of clinics in Henry and Stark County delivering the COVID-19 Bivalent Booster from Moderna for patients 18 and older. And, at the same clinic, people can get their annual flu shot.

Natalie Ince is now practicing at the Sheffield Clinic of OSF Healthcare. In a further expansion of healthcare access, OSF Healthcare have added Natalie Ince to the team in Sheffield. Having Natalie on board will allow the Clinic to make more appointments, welcome new patients, and provide care for people unable to travel to far. Natalie was born and raised in Kewanee, attended Wethersfield before going to college and getting a job at OSF Saint Luke Medical Center. She eventually accepted a position in Galesburg. The job at the Sheffield Clinic allows Natalie to work a little closer to home. Patients in Sheffield and surrounding communities can start booking appointments at the Sheffield Clinic of OSF Healthcare immediately.
