Amazon is headed towards a showdown with Amazon Delivery drivers. With gas prices continuing to hover over the four dollar mark, Amazon Delivery Drivers are asking for an increase in pay in order to be able to afford to keep driving for Amazon. The company has resisted pay increases while economists warn that increased pay for drivers will likely lead to increased prices for consumers. Fox News Business Expert Steven Pope spoke to WKEI and Wake Up Tri-Counties on Monday about the growing stalemate between Amazon and Delivery Drivers and what it means for the consumer.

Just over a week ago Coach Jeff Parsons, the Hall of Fame Head Coach and Athletic Director at Wethersfield made the most difficult decision of his career, deciding to resign from Wethersfield at the end of the current school year. Coach Parsons has held this position since 2005 and leaves as the School's all time winningest Head Basketball Coach and a beloved leader in the Athletic Department. Coach Parsons is taking on the Athletic Director and Assistant Principal Position at Fulton High School beginning in the fall. RaeAnn Tucker from the Henry and Stark County Health Department was our guest on Wake Up Tri-Counties on Thursday, March 24th, 2022. RaeAnn spoke to WKEI regarding the continuing downward trend of COVID-19 numbers, including a milestone in Stark County where there were no new cases of COVID-19 over the last 7 days. There were a total of 17 new cases in Henry County over the last week but both numbers are a strong indication that COVID-19 is abating across the area. RaeAnn also spoke about Colorectal Cancer Awareness and the many innovations that are making it easier for people to get access to Colorectal Cancer screenings and preventative care.

Tucker Forrest has made his decision and will attend Lake Forest College in the fall. The standout defensive star for the A & W Titans made the choice official at a signing day on Friday, March 19th at Wethersfield. Then on Friday night, Tucker joined The Overtime on WKEI talk football and why he chose Lake Forest College over two other programs that had sought to bring him in to play football. Tucker talks about his future, his work ethic and how the praise of an opposing Coach got him thinking about continuing to play Football in college.
