Dr. Sullens was on hand to talk about Monday's Kewanee School Board Meeting. During the meeting and our interview Dr. Sullens updated the progress on several building plans across the district. Dr. Sullens explained that several of the projects are taking longer to complete than others do to lack of building supplies. That said, each project has remained active and on the road to completion. Dr. Sullens also took time to honor the Contest Play performers who finished 3rd at Sectionals last week and the Kewanee Group Interpretation Team which finished in 1st place and qualified for State. Andrew Dwyer also announced the start of work on a new pollinator garden, made possible by a grant, and several grant applications that have gone out related to funds being made available by the American Rescue Plan.
