Brittany Boston from OSF Saint Luke Medical Center joined WKEI on Wake Up Tri-Counties on Monday to talk about the COVID-19 clinics for kids, the benefits of getting kids vaccinated and addressing the questions some parents still have regarding kids and the vaccine. Thursday, December 23rd from 8 AM to 4 Pm and Wednesday, December 29th, appointments can be made to get your child vaccinated. The Henry and Stark County Health Department on Thursday announced that a man in his 80s has become the 86th Henry County resident to die of COVID-19. This news comes as COVID-19 cases in both Henry and Stark County have been rising. According to numbers released on Wednesday by the Henry and Stark County Health Department new infections of COVID-19 were up by 313 cases combined in the two counties. It is expected today that both Henry and Stark County will remain at the Orange Warning Level indicating the increased risk of COVID-19 infection.
