Many kids will not be returning to school in the fall, choosing instead to school at home out of concern over COVID-19. That makes monitoring the child's mental health all the more important. On this edition of People to People, we spoke with CEO and Co-Founder of For My Kidz Mentoring program, Jarel Wilson, about what to watch for when kids are home and how to help them avoid becoming depressed or anxious amid the chaos of the pandemic. One of the keys, according to Jarel, is structure, providing a framework, a schedule to keep, in order help a child remain focused on learning and positive mental attitudes.
