A dedicated pubic servant, Etta was behind the creation of Sunshine Community Service Center and the Step Ladder Tutoring Service which has mentored students at Kewanee and Wethersfield and helped numerous students in need. Step Ladder has received recognition from the City of Kewanee as well as the State of Illinois for what Step Ladder has down for our local students. The length was necessary as a big conversation needed to be had in order to set the ground rules for restaurants to re-open on Friday, May 29th with outdoor dining options. Phase 3 of the Governor's plan to re-open the economy in Illinois means that restaurants can re-open this Friday for outdoor dining only and only after local municipalities create ordinances for the allowance of outdoor dining.
