Its Academy Award nomination time, and as usual, all of our favorite films were passed over. To address this gross injustice we establishing THE JOE-CADEMY AWARDS, nominating the films, actors, creators, and characters we love in a wide range of categories that give these epic films their due. Still groggy from their Thanksgiving induced food comas, the Regular Joes awoke on Black Friday to the YouTube release of the most anticipated movie teaser of all time, Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Having collectively viewed it a few hundred times, Dave, Barry and Tod do a scene-by-scene breakdown of all 88 seconds worth of awesome. There's no denying the late Glen A. Larson, producer of Battlestar Galactica, Knight Rider and, yes . . . Manimal, was one of the most prolific creators in the history of television. The Regular Joe's pay tribute to his legacy by reviewing his prodigious body of work and ponder the question, was he a visionary, or, as so many have claimed, a shameless copycat? SPOILER, the answer lies somewhere in between. Ride along with Dave, Barry and Tod as they revisit Larson's 70's - 90's TV series, both good and bad.
