The early church devoted itself to prayer (Acts 2:42), and it showed! Big things happened. Scripture has a lot to say about prayer and how important it is, and Jesus teaches us to pray expectantly and with perseverance. How is your prayer life?

At the very end of the book of Matthew, Jesus tells us what our job is as his followers: to lead people to Christ and teach them how to follow him. How well are we doing our job? Watch and be challenged as we start the new year!

God placed Esther exactly where He needed her to be to save her people from extinction. And we can rest in the truth that we are exactly where God wants us to be, too!

Real and lasting love is only found in Jesus--and it's his gift to you this Christmas!

There are a lot of things in this world that will try to steal our joy. But one thing that can never be taken away is the joy we can find in Jesus!

Jesus came to earth as a tiny baby to be the Prince of Peace, to bring a peace that would last forever to a war-torn, enemy occupied country. We can have the peace of Jesus today simply by asking him for it, because true peace is found by being in the presence of God.

This Advent, we're unwrapping the gifts that last forever. This week: The Hope of Jesus. It's a hope that's alive and well and eternal! Nothing we have here on this earth can match up with the hope of Jesus!

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. And then... so much more of the story unfolded! How is your story? How is God working in your life? What will He do in the next year?
