Just because it's summer doesn't mean we get to stop learning. In Mark chapter 8, Jesus reminds the disciples of an important lesson--He will always provide for us!

When Jesus called 4 of his disciples, they were out fishing. Jesus told them he would make them fishers of men instead. We have the same call! To reach lost people and give them the same hope of Jesus that we have.

Jesus tells us that he is the way and the truth and the life. It's like he gave us GPS coordinates so we would know exactly where to go to find him!

The Israelites went on a pretty epic wander through the desert--for 40 years they moved around, following God where He led them. The only way we can move forward in our mission to win people for Christ and equip them to serve is if we follow God together.

How function together in this journey of life can make or break the journey for us. No matter where we are-- home, work, or church--we're doing it with other people, and we're called to support, encourage, and help one another!

This Sunday was all about our teens. They ran the whole service! Our seniors shared their testimonies and favorite verses, and the junior class prayed over them. The next generation is going to keep doing big things!

The Israelites went on quite the journey together, and they had an epic breakdown when they first explored the land of Canaan. We don't have to repeat their mistakes as we do life together today!
