God designed you to be happy. In Philippians 4:4, the Apostle Paul writes, “Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!” Paul uses the Greek word “chairo,” which means to be filled with joy. It is a constant state of happiness based on your relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ (not people, places, things, circumstances). This happiness is one of the weapons you use to defeat the things Satan is throwing your way. It’s God’s problem-solving device number nine: Sharing the happiness of God. “Happy are those who hear the Word of God and obey it” (Luke 11:28).
