Ro: Aerul rece al dimineții de iarnă din Bușteni se simțea proaspăt și curat.
En: The cold air of the iarnă morning in Bușteni felt fresh and clean.

Ro: Stațiunea de schi era plină de oameni care se bucurau de zăpadă proaspătă.
En: The ski resort was full of people enjoying the fresh snow.

Ro: Râsetele și clinchetul echipamentelor de schi umpleau atmosfera.
En: Laughter and the clinking of ski equipment filled the atmosphere.

Ro: Andrei și Elena se aflau și ei acolo, printre mulțimea de schiori.
En: Andrei and Elena were there too, among the crowd of skiers.

Ro: Andrei câștigase biletul pentru weekend-ul la stațiune la un concurs organizat de compania lui.
En: Andrei had won a ticket for the weekend at the resort in a competition organized by his company.

Ro: Nici măcar nu știa că Elena va fi acolo.
En: He didn't even know that Elena would be there.

Ro: Dar s-au întâlnit din întâmplare când se pregăteau să urce într-unul dintre telecabine.

En: Elena smiled, but didn't seem overwhelmed by the encounter.

Ro: "Salut, Andrei", a spus ea calm, de parcă nu ar fi trecut câțiva ani de când s-au văzut ultima dată.
En: "Hi, Andrei," she said calmly, as if a few years hadn't passed since they last saw each other.

Ro: Andrei era nostalgic.
En: Andrei was nostalgic.

Ro: De mult își dorise să vorbească cu Elena, o prietenă dragă din facultate.
En: He had long wanted to talk to Elena, a dear friend from college.

Ro: Acolo fusese o prietenie frumoasă, dar timpul le-a dus viețile în direcții diferite.
En: There had been a beautiful friendship, but time had taken their lives in different directions.

Ro: Acum, văzând-o, simțea un val de emoții copleșitoare.
En: Now, seeing her, he felt a wave of overwhelming emotions.

Ro: A vrut întotdeauna să repare ce părea că s-a pierdut.
En: He had always wanted to mend what seemed lost.

Ro: Elena, în schimb, părea să fi depășit trecutul.

Ro: Andrei i-a vorbit despre toate momentele frumoase petrecute împreună, despre cum prietenia lor i-a lipsit și cum și-ar dori să-o recâștige.
En: Andrei spoke about all the beautiful moments spent together, how he missed their friendship, and how he wished to regain it.

Ro: Era atât de sincer, încât Elena nu a putut să nu fie mișcată de vorbele lui.
En: He was so sincere that Elena couldn't help but be moved by his words.

Ro: Pe măsură ce telecabina își continua drumul, conversația lor s-a adâncit.
En: As the cable car continued its journey, their conversation deepened.

Ro: Într-un final, Elena i-a spus, "Andrei, îmi amintesc de prietenia noastră cu drag.
En: Eventually, Elena said, "Andrei, I remember our friendship fondly.

Ro: Poate că ar trebui să încercăm să ne redescoperim.
En: Maybe we should try to rediscover each other.
