How can I be more understanding/compassionate with someone that I may not agree with their world view?

With all of the constant changes happening around me during this Pandemic (changes with mandates), I'm feeling really anxious and uncomfortable with these changes, which I know I can't control. How can I manage these things that aren't in my control, especially when they're distressing to me.?

I've been doing a lot of work around my anxious attachment style, both in therapy and in my own self-growth work. I'm getting back into the dating scene and am noticing myself having a really hard time finding that secure connection with someone. How can I lessen some of that anxious attachment, to make finding a romantic partner more enjoyable?
