Fan white noise is a useful tool for helping a baby fall asleep. The relaxing sound can help soothe a crying, colicky infant. White noise resembles sounds the baby heard in the womb, which has a calming effect. It also masks other distracting noises so that your baby can fall asleep and remain sleeping. Help your baby fall asleep tonight with this fan white noise. Adults sleep well to fan sounds too!
While playing white noise for babies, it’s important to keep tabs on the volume, because any white noise machine, smartphone, or computer can put out levels that are too loud for your child. It's recommended to play the sound at least a few feet from where your infant is sleeping and to keep the volume no louder than the sound of a soft shower.
Parents can download an app to turn their smartphone into a sound level meter. One good, free, option is the sound level meter app created by the U.S. National Institutes for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) available on the app store as the NIOSH SLM app.
Soothe your crying baby and enjoy a moment of calm!

This is the maiden voyage of the Starship DaVinci and my first assignment as chief science officer. The state-of-the-art science vessel is a wonder on the inside and out. My quarters feel like those of a luxury liner, with a bed that intelligently moulds itself for absolute comfort, and a climate control system that adjusts to the occupant's optimal requirements. It can also block out all external sound, however I find the hum of the engine to be extremely conducive to relaxation, so I've disabled those functions. Outside my window glows Nuvia IV, a gas giant with a spectacular ring system. I think I'll sit here a little longer and take in the spaceship sounds before tucking in for the night.
