I am really interested after getting sober and going through the pandemic for almost two years, how we can grow resilience. True resilience. Finding a way to enjoy life’s light even though we inevitably experience dark times too. Sarah is an example of someone who is resilient to me. Sarah got diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2018 at 26 years old. This disease can be debilitating. In MS, the immune system attacks the protective sheath that covers nerve fibers and causes communication problems between your brain and the rest of your body. Eventually, the disease can cause permanent damage or deterioration of the nerves. Sarah shows bravery, resilience, humour and love in the face of a terrifying disease. She makes me feel like my problems are small, but she still has room for them. She is the best. Thank you Sarah for joining me. I hope you enjoy this episode.
