Remedial Radio

The Meantime have released their new EP Illusions.

The Meantime are a Rock band from the Central Coast of N.S.W.

The band was formed when Daniel (Guitar and Vocals) left his previous band, and was assisted by a friend in recording a few demos, who then introduced Kurt to the role of drums.

After topping the local Reverbnation alternative/rock charts in Australia, The Meantime recorded and released their debut self-titled E.P.

Since the release of their debut E.P, The Meantime has performed with countless local acts at numerous venues, as well as supporting Born Lion on their 2015 'Final Words' tour, and Jebediah on their 2016 'Summer Tour'.

This week we drank with the guys from Bicycle Day.

This week we sat down and had a beer with our mate Mitch Renegen.

Mitch is a singer songwriter from the Central Coast. He is member of the Central Coast cover band KickStarters.

We talked about busking, gigging, his solo stuff, The Kick Starters, his plans to travel around Europe, his plans to travel around Australia and more.

This is a special episode recorded live at The Rhythm Hut, Gosford.

We had live music from Kalun Townsend, Wits End, Trouble In Paradise and Screaming Eagle.

Between sets Lint got a chance to talk shit and drink with all the performers on the night.

We had a shitload of fun and got pretty drunk so we are pretty confident that we will be doing more of these shows in the future.

This weeks episode features the guys from Central Coast hard rock outfit Screaming Eagle.

This is a continuation on last weeks episode with Sindel and Ratfvck. We basically finished one episode off and jumped straight into the next.

Sindel and Ratfvck stuck around for the rest of the night. We were also joined by Charles from Trouble In Paradise.

In this episode we start off drunk and by the end we are trashed!

Plenty of very inappropriate and super crass jokes... fun for the whole family!!

Screaming Eagle will be headlining next weeks Remedial Radio LIVE show so definitely keep an eye out for that!

I would write what topics we covered... but i barely remember any of it!

Anyways get your earholes into this one!

This was the first episode recorded in the new Remedial Cave!... And what an eventful one it was!!

This week we were graced with the super hilarious and grossly inappropriate comic stylings of Sindel and Ratfuck from This Shite Podcast.

We waffled on about podcasting, the origins of their nicknames, drinking, time paradoxes, dead hookers, cocaine parties, leukemia, bucket lists, aboriginals and much more.

Due to our shitty time management skills the guys from Screaming Eagle (who will be featured on next weeks episode) joined us for the second half of the episode.

If you listen all the way to the end of the episode you will hear a major car accident and people fighting just outside the new Remedial Cave. We explain exactly what happened in the episode.

We've compiled some of the best and most drunk bits from previous episodes to give you our Greatest Shits!

At the top of the episode is some long lost super drunk audio of Matt, Michael (Magic Bean Merchants) and Harley (Trouble In Paradise) at a gig at The Rhythm Hut.

The clips in this podcast were taken from the following episodes:

This weeks episode will be the last episode recorded in the Remedial Cave.  Not to worry!! We will be working on the new studio this week!

This week we were joined by Matty D and Assistant Dan from our own band The Shaykes.

Unfortunately Salavador couldn't make it this week... Typical Mexican!

We asked Assistant Dan about his last few months living and working the snow season down in Victoria.

We were excited to discuss Matty D's upcoming debut amatuer Muay Thai fight.

The Shaykes

The Shaykes are a five piece indie-rock outfit from the Central Coast, NSW. The band have been impressing crowds with their distinctive blend of high energy garage rock, and vintage rock and roll, since forming in 2014. The Shaykes are a product of the intense collaboration between charismatic front-man Matty Dalcol, and skilled guitarist Matt Stalgis. Working tirelessly with veteran music producer Matt O'Connor, The Shaykes have developed a fresh style of music. Matty D's promiscuous lyrics and Matt's catchy guitar lines are enhanced by the exceptional talents of Dan Kennedy on drums, Lint Gannon on bass, and Sal Cordero on keys. The Shaykes have already played to large crowds at The Oxford Art Factory, World Bar, and Spectrum.

We will be recording the whole show with interviews between each band. It will be uploaded as an episode of the podcast on Monday the 31st of October 2016.

This week we were joined by the punk trio from Scone, Wits End.

We tackle hard hitting subjects such as who in the band got their junk out first, what it would be liked to be raped by Arny or Stalone, what real punk is, finger nail painting, why women dislike Steve, the music scene in the Upper Hunter region, getting drunk on stage, various gaming consoles, American Pie the movie, The Muppets, killing celebrities, phone sex and much more.

The guys stuck around after our chat and graced us with some of their sexy pop punk tuneskies.
